Ink Production Process
Our team brings comprehensive expertise in every stage of UV ink development and production — from formulation to final performance.
Research & development
The UV ink development process we follow is truly unique. Taking inspiration from pharmaceutical standards, our inks are formulated with the same precision as medical products. Every component, variable, and possible formulation is meticulously tested and refined — ensuring premium performance, reliability, and consistency.
High-throughput screening
From a vast number of possible ink formulations, the most suitable candidates are rapidly identified using advanced High-Throughput Screening (HTS) techniques. In specialized labs, automated systems test each combination for key properties such as viscosity, surface tension, color accuracy, curing speed, and more. This method significantly accelerates the development of new, high-performance UV inks.
Concentrated pigment dispersion
Pigment dispersion is the first and most crucial step in the UV ink production process. Advanced milling techniques ensure dispersions of exceptional quality, with ultra-fine and consistently sized pigment particles. This precise dispersion process plays a key role in achieving excellent ink stability and a long shelf life.
Ink preparation and filtration
Each raw material and compound is dosed with precision and mixed under strictly controlled conditions to ensure batch-to-batch consistency of the ink composition. The next critical step — ink filtration — ensures that the entire batch is free from oversized particles, guaranteeing smooth performance and reliability.
Filling & packaging
An advanced packaging and labeling system ensures the precise and automated filling of anti-contamination, UV-protective containers under strictly controlled conditions. Each container is carefully selected to preserve ink quality and is sealed with both a protective film and a plastic cap. This dual-seal system prevents leakage and helps maintain the ink’s long-term stability and performance.
Extensive quality control
Because quality control is a top priority, we rigorously test raw materials, pigment dispersions, jetting reliability, and all key properties of every ink batch produced. Nothing goes unchecked. Only when the ink meets our strict standards for quality and performance is it approved for market release.
